The Christmas List for Family

So, it’s that time of year when I start getting asked about gift ideas for Walter and the kids. I never know what to say and the few things I do say, we end up getting three of from different people. So, this year, I’ve kept an eye out for ideas. Walter and the kids play the Wii down at his mom’s, but she doesn’t have any games other than the one it comes with. So Wii games would be good for any of them. For specific ideas, here’s the things I’ve thought of for them:

Gender-neutral gifts for either kid:
Dry-Erase Markers (we installed a large dry erase board in the play room)
Over-sized drawing paper, watercolors, playdoh, Color-Wonder markers & paper
Financial Peace Jr. kit
Kids Bop CDs (they’ve worn out the demo CD they got in a Happy Meal)

Roman could use:
A bike helmet
Lego Duplo sets
Nerf Football
New Piggy Bank
A play wallet
Phonics materials
Football Cleats (size 10)
Tonka type trucks
Matchbox Car & accessories
Favorite characters are still Lightning McQueen and Mater

Chloe could use:
Nintendo DS Lite games (she’s getting the game system from me)
Pink footless ballet tights
Heavy book ends (hers don’t really hold the books up)
Mary Poppins DVD
Easy Reader Books
Play Makeup
Typing tutor computer software
Girl Scout stuff (apparel, gifts, games)
Guitar tuner, new strings, easy chord book
Hair accessories (solid colors for school)

Walter could use:
Home Depot gift cards
Wireless mouse
Stuff for garage organization (wall hooks, bins, containers, etc)
Pressure Washer
New battery for his power drill
Stick Blender
Book ideas: muscle and sports cars, carpentry, landscaping

(And if you ask what I would like, you can ask Walter.)
